Chinese Course on Drug Development and Reulatory Sciences

    With the mission to provide a top-level training platform to enhance the knowledge, expertise and skills needed to manage modern discovery, development and regulation of biopharmaceutical products, Peking University, in collaboration with the European Course of Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM) at the University of Basel, Switzerland and American Course of Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences (ACDRS) at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF), offers the Chinese Course on Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences (CCDRS). The CCDRS is a comprehensive, certificate training program which combines an integrated and systematic introduction to cutting-edge concepts and best practices involved in the process from discovery and development to the market approval of innovative medicines.
    The lectures and course syllabus cover the following topics: discovery research and toxicology, biopharmaceutics and clinical pharmacology, clinical trial methodologies and GCP, epidemiology and biostatistics, regulatory standards and procedures, healthcare economics, and program management. In order to provide the highest educational quality and relevance, the CCDRS is building a partnership between universities, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and its related regulatory agencies to have its content adapted to the Chinese situation and with an international view in scope.
